Our Artists

You can easily provide information about the artists at your studio, a bio of their background and training, their expertise, and visual examples of the work they do.  There are several ways that we can present their portfolio pictures: check out the artists below to see a couple of examples.

It's important that images are optimized for both desktops and mobile devices.  You want a balance of image dimensions, file size, and display quality.  Digital pictures, even those taken from a mobile phone, often have a large file size which affects the time it takes to display the webpage (performance).  Large images can also affect how search engines rank your webpage in search results and can eat into a visitor's mobile data.

Here I've added a gallery of the artists, providing visitors with quick and access to each artist.  If they click the image, they will be taken to the artist's profile and portfolio.

How the portfolio photos are presented is really dependent on what makes sense for where they're displayed or if a particular presentation format personally connects with you.  In this example, the portfolio is presented as a mosaic.  Clicking on the image opens a pop-up window with a larger version of the portfolio photos and additional optional information.

In this example, there are also features that allow visitors to indicate that they like a particular photo (the heart icon) and to share the photo on social media.

Here I'm using a gallery that displays image thumbnails at the bottom with the current photo enlarged at the top.  Visitors can navigate the image gallery with the easy to use navigation arrows.

In this example, the gallery does not open a window to display a large version of the photo.

Your webpage background can be an image, an on-brand colour or video.  You can increase the visual impression by revealing content as a person scrolls down the page.
